P6 Capabilities Analysis - Job Specific and Transferable
Job Specific vs. Transferable Capabilities
Job Specific Capabilities are unique to performing a specific job. They do not necessarily transfer to any other position. These capabilities typically set a minimum initial threshold for acceptable performance in a job.
Transferable Capabilities can transfer from one job to another. They are life skills like self-management, communication and task-management. These capabilities are especially important for more complex jobs, or when a job grows or varies in its performance requirements.
