Co-Founder / Chief Product Officer
David Spader recently co-founded Potentia LLC after more than two decades of creating and implementing solutions for primarily small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to Potentia, David founded All-Win Leadership™ Solutions and spent more than 20 years one of the lead consultants, coaches and trainers for Spader Business Management and their 7,000+ client companies. His areas of specialty include leadership development, succession planning, strategic development, company culture and effective hiring practices. He was the primary creator and instructor for Spader’s Leadership Development Programs, Effectively Leading and Managing Employees Workshop, Multi-location Business Workshop and Hiring Winners Workshops and many other consulting services. He is also the lead instructor for the Next Level Leadership Workshop, which focuses on effective leadership and culture management practices.
David spends a significant portion of his time providing hands-on coaching and consulting services for executives, managers, and future leaders throughout North America. He regularly presents at regional and national conventions. The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas recognized his efforts in 2014 by providing him with the prestigious Irv Rosenthal Award, given to the individual who does the most to support the association’s and industry’s efforts during that year.
David was fortunate to have started a working relationship with his mentor, internationally recognized knowledge and thought leader, and best-selling author, Dr. Michael O’Connor, nearly 25 years ago while helping to implement his Managing By Values® process. They continue to work together, co-authoring the creation of new models, products and services to meet the needs of their business clients. Their work together has most recently culminated in creating the PRO-daptive® Leadership & Management model and its related book, Conquering Unfavorable Leadership.
As a consultant and coach, David is certified in the use of the Personal Global Profiles System™ and People-Oriented Problem Solving (POPS). He has utilized these and other tools with various businesses to develop their leadership and management capabilities. At the organizational level, he has also been certified by The Center for Managing by Values to deliver its Managing By Values® and “3D” Strategic Development programs.
Before joining Spader Business Management, David was a process consultant for Northrup Grumman in Washington, DC, where he was involved in various organizational development services and initiatives for several Defense and Intelligence agencies. David also worked for Habitat for Humanity in their East & Southeast Asia region as its coordinator for youth programs. This culminated in “Youth Build 2000,” in which 17,000 young people participated in building more than 300 homes.
David holds degrees in Psychology (Organizational) and Theological Studies. He currently resides in Albuquerque, NM with his wife who is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon.
